Laura Baugh

Laura was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, attended North Carolina State University and graduated in 1980 with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Management.  She moved to the Nashville area in 1980 as a sales manager for Apple Computer. Establishing the retail dealer network, and selling to the education  and corporatemarket for the State of Tennessee.  Laura was a Top Producer and was instrumental in achieving millions of dollars of sales for Apple Computer in Tennessee. Laura opened Executive Travel and Parking in 1986 serving corporate travel accounts and offering tour management travel services to the music industry.  In 1994 Executive Travel and Parking began offering the first valet parking and shuttle service for the Nashville Airport.  Initiating the concept of “service while you fly” offering auto detail, gas and auto repair services for the business traveler.  The business was sold in 1996 to former Christie Cookie Executive, David Hornsby.  After a year off remodeling a vacation home in Naples, Florida and a permanent home in Nashville, the real estate marketing caught her attention.  Laura got her real estate license in 1997 and joined Shirley Zeitlin & Company, Realtors.  Laura has specialized in new construction, including selling the raw land to the developer, selling the lots in the development and selling the speculative built homes or condos.  Laura sells all price range homes and enjoys working with Buyers and Sellers in all segments of the Real Estate market. She is professional and knowledgeable in providing excellence in real estate services.  Her expertise has resulted in her ranking as the 3rd largest selling agent in the Nashville market area according to the Nashville Business Journal for 2011. She was 5th 2010, 2nd 2009, and has been ranked in the top 25 "Residental Real Estate Agents" top agents since 2004. She is a Lifetime Diamond Awards of Excellence Member for the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors.  In 2004, she was awarded the Diamond, Sapphire and Emerald top sales award by Southern Land Company.  In October of 2004, Laura joined Worth Properties located in Burton Hills.  Worth Properties is Nashville’s “Sign of Distinction” in the real estate market.  In 2007 Laura was one of 6 Realtors awarded the Diamond Award from the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors.  Laura’s moto is “It’s Worth a Call to Laura Baugh, I’m Never too Busy for You”.  Laura lives with her husband of  24 years, and three special Maltese dogs.  They enjoy boating and traveling.

Shelly Bearden

Shelly Bearden, has been a successful real estate agent for 8 years. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Service Management and a Minor in Business, she immediately started her career in residential real estate as a Realtor and is now a licensed Broker.   Shelly began her real estate career with a leading Fortune 500 Company known as Pulte Homes. She acquired extensive training in finance/mortgage calculations, construction knowledge, customer service skills, and competition studies within the Nashville market. She was awarded “Wingman Trainer” and “Top Gun Trainer” after 6 months, qualifying her to mentor and lead others. She was also given the title “Lead Recruiter” for the Nashville division. She held job fairs and spoke to Universities such as University of Georgia, University of Tennessee, and IndianaUniversity, recruiting top individuals for the Nashville sales team. As for sales, Shelly was consecutively awarded Salesperson of the month for units and volume. She loved the challenge of selling undeveloped dirt, grand opening communities, giving slower selling neighborhoods a “makeover” to become the top income generating communities, and overcoming new challenges along the way. After a successful career with Pulte Homes, Shelly was ready to move to something more challenging. She decided to work in a much larger development with more of an opportunity to learn.   Shelly was with Regent Homes in Lenox Village Community for over 4 years. Shelly was the top sales agent for 3 years where she earned the Silver Award (2005) and Platinum Awards (2006 and 2007) for selling over $10 million in annual sales. Shelly sold $17.2 in annual sales in 2007, motivating her to want to sell in all areas of Nashville.   Shelly started with Worth Properties working under Laura Baugh, one of Nashville's top agents. She is now a licensed Broker buying and selling in all areas of Nashville. Shelly has a natural ability to communicate with people and doesn’t waste anyone’s time. Real Estate Experience Mary Sue has been selling real estate for 30+ years and holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) designations. She is also member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors and a member of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Association of Realtors. She has several times been selected by the Nashville Business Journal as one of the Top 25 Residential Real Estate agents and is a Lifetime Million Dollar Producer. She has been chosen to be a speaker at the Top Producer Panel for the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, and has served on the Southern Land Company Advisory Board and the Nashville Predators’ Advisory Board. Personal Mary Sue has two daughters and two grandchildren. She attended undergraduate school at the University of Illinois and graduate school at Northwestern University. She enjoyed teaching prior to joining the real estate profession. She loves all aspects of real estate, and especially loves working with buyers. She has a very outgoing personality and is known as a strong negotiator. She loves to play tennis…has a canoe…and enjoys all sports. Community American Association of University Women, Cheekwood, the Nature Conservancy, the Nashville Symphony Guild and Friends of Children’s Hospital. Her favorite charity is Habitat for Humanity…and has helped build over 17 Habitat homes. She also serves on the Habitat committee for the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors.

Janet Jones

Janet has a Bachelor of Science in Education/Management from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. Before her real estate career began, she spent 10 years teaching Business Law, Business English and Business Accounting.
